Sam Jacks‘ 100th Birthday!
Today, on the 23th April 2015, would have been the 100th Birthday of Sam Jacks, the Inventor of Ringette. International Ringette Federation honors the legacy of Sam Jacks with these photos and a message from Sam Jacks‘ son Bruce Jacks.
My father Samuel Perry Jacks was born in Scotland on April 23 1915.
Our family have been reminiscing about our Father and all his accomplishments over the years.
The main one being our game of Ringette. If you knew Sam he would be very humbled to think his game that he invented in 1963 has travelled from the City of North Bay Ontario Canada (known as the Birth Place of Ringette), is now being played across Canada, USA, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia and France.
What a way to celebrate which would have been his hundredth birthday!
On behalf of myself and the family we would like to thank the Ringette World for all their hard work and dedication in making the game of Ringette a world class sport.

Czech Ringette Camp v Praze
Zveme Vás na letní mezinárodní kemp v Praze, který se uskuteční 28.7.-2.8.2015 na zimním stadionu Hasa. Vedení tréninků se ujala prezidentka IRF Sini Forsblom, asistovat ji bude kanadská hráčka Margie Carter a kondiční trenérka Marie Pellarová. Pro účastníky jsou každý den připraveny dvě tréninkové jednotky na ledě a suchá příprava. Kemp je určený pro všechny hráče, hráčky i pro nové zájemce. Informace a přihlášky: sekretariat@ringet.cz.
We would like to invite you to Czech International Ringette Camp in Prague from July 28 to August 2, 2015. Head coach: Sini Forsblom. Camp schedule: Tuesday through Saturday – Each of these days will have two ice sessions per day. There will also be one off-ice practice and recreational activities each day so that players can relax and have some fun. The week ends with a final game on Sunday. It is a great way to display the skills that were developed during the week. Camp fee: 107€ + accommodation and food (according to individual requests). Player registration deadline: 15th June 2015. Soustředění v Liptovském Mikuláši
Víkendového soustředění v Liptovském Mikuláši, 10.-12.4.2015, se společně se slovenským výběrem zúčastnilo i osm hráček z České republiky. Děvčata absolvovala čtyři tréninkové jednotky zaměřené především na základní dovednosti a práci s ringem. Klasickým vyústěním víkendu byl přátelský zápas Slovensko x Česká republika. Tentokrát se po výhře 0:2 radoval tým ČR.
IRF Coaching and Referee Workshops 2015
The first official International IRF Coaching and Referee Workshops took place in Prague, Czech Republic on 22th – 23th July 2015. There were participants from five different countries; Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Slovakia and Sweden.
Instructors of the Coaching Workshop were Phyllis Sadoway and Matti Virtanen. They shared their coaching knowledge to 13 coaches on and off ice. There were lots of good discussions and active participation. The participants of the Coaching workshop got new ideas from the instructors as well as each other.
„It is good that the first workshop has now found it’s place and this is a good start“, said Matti „Masa“ Virtanen, one of the two instructors. Mr. Virtanen is working in Ringette Finland office and is responsible for the education of ringette coaches in Finland. „The discussions open the participants eyes when there are so many different ways of thinking about just one simple thing in ringette. You can’t really say which one is good or bad, as the cultures are very different in different countries“ says mr. Virtanen.

České ringetové hry 2015
Na začátku listopadu, ve dnech 7.-8., se uskuteční první ročník Českých ringetových her v Klášterci nad Ohří.
Zúčastnit se mohou registrované,neregistrované týmy i jednotlivé hráčky. Věková hranice turnaje je stanovena na 14+. Uzávěrka přihlášek je 15.září 2015.

Ladies International Ringette Tournament
ORGANISED BY CZECH RINGETTE ASSOCIATION
CATEGORY: Ladies – age limit 14+
DATE: NOVEMBER 07th – NOVEMBER 08th 2015
LOCATION: ICE ARENA KLASTEREC NAD OHRI – Pod stadionem 356, Klášterec nad Ohří
TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
PROCEDURE
4 participating teams (maximum 8 teams in 2 division) play each against each other. The two best placed teams (or first from both division) will play final game for Czech Ringette Games 2015. Other two teams (or second from both division ) will play game for the 3rd place.
Winners – 2 points // looser – 0 points // Tie – 1 point each.
The ranking list depends on the total of points followed by the results of the direct game followed by the goal difference within the teams having the same amount of points followed by the higher scored goals and folloved by lucky draw.

5 minutes brake
second period 20 minutes running time
ice cleaning
FINAL GAMES
Should the games end in a tie, one or more 20 minutes overtime will be played with sudden death.

2 minutes // 5 minutes // 10minutes
PRIZES
After final game – Crystal cup per team are going to the winner of the tournament. Cups are going to the runner-up and per team at third position of the tournament. The personal trophy goes to the best goalkeeper, deffender, forward and scorer of the tournament. Members of ALL STARS team will be nominated by organiser of the tournament. FAIR PLAY trophy is going to the team with less penalty minutes.
CONDITIONS
Each team has to have 2 sets of sweaters with different colour
LINE-UP
Team representative fill-up during presentation at the Ice Arena line-up with names, numbers, position of all players.
TOURNAMENT FEES
230,- Euro per team – This fee comprised tournament fee, own locker room, guaranteed four tournament games with 2x 20minutes, trophies.
37,- Euro per person per day – This fee comprised night with breakfast, lunch and diner.

Ringetová školička ve Vlašimy
Ringetová školička pro děti do 10ti let. Každé úterý od 16.12.2014 v 6:30 hod ráno na našem zimním stadionu. Zapůjčíme hole, ringy a helmy zdarma. Bližší informace a registrace dětí do školičky na rcvlasim@ringet.cz

1.ročník Mezinárodního ringetového kempu
Ve dnech 7.-9.11.2014, proběhl 1.ročník Mezinárodního ringetového kempu v Klášterci nad Ohří. Společné tréninky českých a slovenských hráček vedla trenérka, hráčka a prezidentka Mezinárodní ringetové federace Sini Forsblom. Kromě tří tréninkových jednotek na ledě, byla pro účastnice připravena i teoretická část. Hráčky si prohloubily znalosti pravidel a získaly základní přehled o systému hry. Na kempu se v dobrém světle ukázaly i nové naděje. Mezi nimi i nejmladší členka Kláštereckého klubu, teprve šestiletá Eliška Trněná. Závěrečný přátelský zápas mezi Českou republikou a Slovenskem opět dopadl lépe pro naše východní sousedky, které zvítězily 4:1.
